BUSINESS NEEDS
BHP Minerals Australia uses an initiative called the Local Buying Program to provide procurement opportunities for small, local and Indigenous businesses, funnelling over a billion dollars in spend to these organisations. C-Res is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day deliverables of this program, as well as ongoing support, engagement and mentoring of registered suppliers.
With a team of 37 geographically distributed people, the C-Res team were looking for an intranet template to share information and provide quick access to resources. There was a need to streamline their SharePoint environment, migrating multiple sites into one central site and reducing reliance on email. The Business Development Advisors also required a solution that could be easily accessed from the road.
THE PROJECT
WebVine assisted C-Res to migrate their SharePoint content from several existing sites into one, ensuring existing SharePoint lists and Power Automate flows were replicated correctly.
Department pages were created for each team and a unique organisation chart was built using SharePoint lists, incorporating work hours and scheduled breaks.
C-Res have strong SharePoint knowledge internally and felt confident that they could leverage the Injio Go intranet template to create a user friendly mega menu and beautiful pages to inform and empower their users.
OUTCOMES
Branded and responsive, the new Injio Go intranet is rapidly becoming a central pillar of work for C-Res. One major feature is the Event and Engagement Register which supports the team to manage essential promotions such as business breakfasts, council updates and training. Approved users complete a comprehensive form which, when submitted, automatically creates a new SharePoint folder and ID number, allocating metadata such as event location, date and status for easy sorting and filtering.
The “What’s on this week” news section provides an interactive platform to welcome new people and celebrate employee milestones while reducing reliance on email. The Reporting Centre leverages Power BI to provide essential data and insights and support informed decisions.
